Twilight Summer Series 2025 ​​​​​​​

Join us for an exciting season of 7-aside netball, perfect for a pre-season shake-up, staying active, or catching up with friends and having fun in a non-competitive environment.

Whether you're new to the game or a team looking to get ahead of the winter season, this series offers something for everyone. Gather your team and register now!

6 Week league running from Wednesday 19 February – 26 March 2025.

Game times/format

  • 4 x 10-minute quarters (2-minute quarter time breaks & 3-minute half time break)
  • 6pm round & 7pm round

Grade

  • College Grade – Female & Mixed
  • Senior Mixed
  • Senior Women’s

    Grade Numbers

    Please understand that if the grade you select does not have enough registrations, Whangarei Netball Centre may have to merge your grade with another grade.

    Fees

    All grades - $240.00 for the season.

    • Team fee is payable if full by Monday 16 February 2025 via online banking on receipt of invoice. Failure to pay by this date may result in your team being withdrawn.

    If making a payment into our bank account and you do not have an invoice, please state the your name, team and tournament so we are able to identify your payment.

    • Please ensure you use your team’s name or invoice number when making a payment.  Once payment is received you will be added to the draw - if you have not paid, you will not be on the draw.


    Closing Date

    Team registrations close on Monday 16 February 2025.

    Additional Information 

    Game requests

    There will be no game deferrals considered for the summer series. Time requests may only be made for exceptional circumstances, the approval of your request will be made at the discretion of WNC.

    Teams are to supply their own umpire and ball. WNC can supply bibs if required.

    Scoring:

    • Teams are to provide a scorer. Though score cards are used there is no winner or runner up.

    Rules:

    • Standard INF Rules apply
    • No injury time​​​​​ male player at a time then limited to one (1) in each third i.e. GS/A, C/W & GD/K
    • Mixed Grade teams - no more than three (3) men per team may be on the court at any one time and teams must have a minimum of one (1) male on the court at all times.  If playing more than one (1)
    • Player substitutions may be made at intervals only.

    Note to Players, Parents & Guardians

    • Whangarei Netball Centre encourages players to participate in age-appropriate grades to ensure development, safety, and fair competition. We do not recommend youth players competing in senior grades, as these may not offer a suitable environment for their skill development and overall well-being.
    • We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us maintain a balanced and positive experience for all participants.
