FutureFERNS at Whangarei Netball Centre

​​​​​​​The Woolworths FutureFERNS Year 7 & 8 programme, developed by Netball New Zealand, is designed to help players refine their skills and gain confidence in the full 7-aside game. As part of this structured development pathway, the programme focuses on game understanding, movement skills, and tactical awareness, ensuring players are well-prepared for competitive netball. With modified rules to support learning and progression, Year 7 players continue to build their foundation, while Year 8 players transition into a more traditional game format with standard netball rules.
